Storeis confirms its commitment to a positive impact with “Digital-mente 2”

The second edition of Digital-mente, Storeis’ free digital training program supported by the Municipality of Padua, has come to a successful close.
This year, the project collaborated with the Centro Veneto Progetti Donna to expand its scope.

Initially launched in 2023 to help young people from vulnerable backgrounds acquire digital skills, the program’s new focus was on equipping women from the local anti violence centre and its volunteers with the tools they need to enter the job market.

Gender-based violence remains a significant issue in Italy, with alarming statistics: 31.5% of women have experienced some form of physical or sexual violence in their lifetime (ISTAT), 62.7% of rapes are committed by a partner or ex-partner (ISTAT), and every three days a woman is killed by her current or former partner (Femminicidiologia, 2024).

A comprehensive and practical training journey

The collaboration with the Centro Veneto Progetti Donna began earlier this year, when Storeis hosted a gender awareness workshop for its staff. This partnership aims to provide concrete support to women affected by violence—one of the most vulnerable groups in society.

The six-session program, led by Storeis consultants, gave participants foundational knowledge in Digital Marketing, SEO, UX, and Digital Analytics, exposing them to various career opportunities in these fields.

Beyond technical skills, the project also empowered women to recognize their own potential, motivating them to re-enter or join the job market to build a better future.

The final session, held at Storeis’ offices, featured evidence from DEHA (Meeting Group) — a women-led sportswear company — who shared insights on working in digital marketing within a small to mid-sized enterprise, as well as the different career paths available.

The success of Digital-mente’s second edition underscores the value of education as a tool to fight gender-based violence and reaffirms Storeis’ ongoing commitment to fostering well-being in the community, in line with previous positive-impact initiatives.

Looking ahead, Storeis aims to replicate the project in new contexts, providing more training and growth opportunities to those in need.
