IT INTERNSHIP

We are looking for a teammate to join our IT team and support the operational management of day-to-day office IT activities: Windows/macOS workstations, network and devices, cloud/SaaS tools, small automations, and targeted developments to support our digital practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Helpdesk & User Support (L1/L2): daily assistance for colleagues, account setup, printers, meeting room tech, and ticketing management.

     

  • Workplace & Device Management: setting up new devices, managing updates, patching, and hardware/software asset lifecycle (onboarding/offboarding).

     

  • Network & Office Support: basic LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, access point troubleshooting, and AV equipment support.

     

  • Cloud & SaaS: managing permissions on Google Workspace / Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, and basic security policies.

     

  • Practical Security: supporting MFA/password management, writing small scripts (Bash, PowerShell, Python) to automate tasks, and creating documentation/runbooks.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

We’re looking for trainees with a strong interest in hands-on IT and office operations. The required skills are:

  • Technical curiosity and a desire to learn by doing (a lot);
  • Good problem-solving and priority management skills;
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly with non-technical users;
  • Good command of English (written and spoken);
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems (installations, settings, troubleshooting);
  • Basic knowledge of networks (IP, DNS, Wi-Fi, VPN concepts) and the main cloud/SaaS tools;
  • Familiarity with productivity tools (Drive/OneDrive, Docs/Office, Slack/Teams, etc.).

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Linux, Bash/PowerShell, Python (even basic), and automation;
  • Git and development fundamentals (HTML/CSS/JS or other useful internal technologies);
  • Introductory knowledge of MDM, ticketing, and asset management;
  • Basic security concepts (MFA, IAM, endpoint protection) and/or entry-level certifications;
  • “Homelab mindset”: personal projects, curiosity about networking, cloud, Docker, and APIs.

TIMING:

The selection process will last approximately 4 weeks.

The internship will last 6 months.

LOCATION:

Padua, with the possibility of remote working for part of the week.
