1. Project Goals

When NonSoloSport contacted us, it needed to perform an in-depth study to define a technology stack to support the transfer to Magento 2 of its new website www.nonsolosport.it.

In particular, the project goals could be summarized as follows:

  • Icona-Ingranaggi

Defining the technology stack for the go-live of the new ecommerce platform

  • Identifying technological solutions valid in the long-term and in line with the corporate business plan

  • Releasing an in-depth analysis including a Vendor Selection study

3. Key Wins

The vendor selection at the end of the process made it possible to:

  • Identify alternative solutions to the technology stack currently adopted, which are more performing compared to an equal or lower platform cost and better integrate with the ecommerce platform in use
  • Define the most suitable technology stack for the go-live, considering the system integrator and the company’s in-house resources
  • Identify the evolution of the technology stack to be put in use in 2 to 3 years, on the basis of the company’s business plan
  • Offer NonSoloSport a backup plan of alternative and ready-to-use solutions
  • Gain a detailed output document with answers to more than 350 questions, number assessments, economics and shortlisting stages
